What is an Action Plan?

An action plan on how we will tackle the Growth Plan. A list of actions per week that will affect the conversion rates, will impact the KPIs and therefore the Growth Plan in total.

How to create an Action plan?

  1. Come up with a growth plan with the important metrics, then you need to create

  2. Create some lists of activities per category that will impact those metrics

  3. Prioritize based on a prioritization framework, ICE or other

  4. The prioritized actions will be your action plan.

What are the Alt-text Images?

Alt-Text (aka Alternative Text) is the name (description), we give to images. In order to help the Search Engine do its job in the best way possible, you should give a name to your Images.
Alt text should be descriptive of the image, if the target keyword does not fit a specific image, don’t include it in the alt text.

What is the Accelerated Mobile Pages (AMP)?

Accelerated Mobile Pages (AMP) are set to roll out within Google’s mobile search results. AMP is a Google-backed project with the aim of speeding up the delivery of content through the use of stripped-down code known as AMP HTML.

What is Anchor Text

Anchor Text is the visible, clickable text in a hyperlink. Anchor text can provide both search engines and users relevant contextual information about the content of the link’s destination.

What is App Indexing?

App Indexing helps you engage your app users and increase app installs directly from Google Search. This means that mobile users who have your app installed will be able to open content deep in your app directly from Search results, and Android users who do not yet have your app installed will be given an opportunity to do so. What is the attribution model?

An attribution model is a rule or set of rules, that determines how credit for sales and conversions is assigned to touchpoints in conversion paths.
For example, the Last Interaction model assigns 100% credit to the final touchpoints (i.e., clicks) that immediately precede sales or conversions. In contrast, the First Interaction model assigns 100% credit to touchpoints that initiate conversion paths

What’s the best attribution model?

In attribution models, there is no correct or wrong one. It depends from the business and the way the company operates on the web. Most companies use the Last Interaction model for simplicity purposes.

What are backlinks?

Backlinks are links from other websites that point back to a website. Backlinks are important for SEO because some search engines, especially Google, will give more credit to websites that have a good number of quality backlinks, and consider those websites more relevant than others in their results pages for a search query.

Any Backlinks will work?

No. Getting backlinks from spammy websites or unrelated-to-your-business websites will not help you but most probably will harm your rankings.

How many categories of backlinks exist?

The main categories are two (2)
* Do-follow backlinks
* No-Follow backlinks

What are Backlinks .edu?

These are a number of educational links meaning that are links coming and provided from official educational institutions i.e. universities. These links have more value than the regular .com .gr .co .nl

What are .gov backlinks?

These refer to a number of government links. Thus, links come from NGOs or governmental institutions. These links have more value than the regular .com .gr .co .nl
