We’re looking for an aspiring tech-oriented individual to help us with aspects of Technical SEO.

Don’t worry if you don’t know how to do SEO, we will teach you how! All you need is to be tech-oriented individual.

The role of technical SEO is to propose structural and technological solutions for a website in order to achieve results in SEO.

The position involves analysis of the tech stack & the web design implementations of GrowthRocks and GrowthRocks Clients, all in terms of Search Engine Optimization.

The position involves but is not limited to the following activities:

  • Performing technical experiments to evaluate weighting differences in Google Algorithms
  • Website Inspections and proposals for better search performance, this is not limited but it includes:
    • Speed Improvements
    • Cross Device Compatibility
    • Crawlability & Indexability
    • Internal Links Structure
  • Participate in calls with developers regarding technical issues
  • Propose & Implement viable technical solutions to SEO problems
  • Maintain technical SEO documents & guidelines
  • Use SEO tools to extract useful insights
  • Create automatons and programs that speed up our internal processes
  • Setup & automate SEO monitors & Alerts

Our Requirements

Things you need to be able to play with:

  • Web Programming (Back & Front, mostly front)
  • Networking Fundamentals

Things you will need to learn if you don’t know already:

  • Basic Knowledge of Search Engines
    • Crawling
    • Spiders
    • Indexation
    • Filtering
  • AI & Machine Learning (Fundamentals)
  • Understanding of Google’s Algorithms and Systems

Optional but Admired:

  • Computer Science Degree
  • Degree in Maths or Physics or Engineering is also very welcome as soon as you have the technical background described above.
