The Collection of Information
Our principal goals in collecting information are to provide and improve our Services. The types of information that we collect include (collectively, “Personal Information”):
- The date and the time of the Consultation
- The duration booked
- The Full Name of the Client
- The email of the Client
- The Client’s skype id
- The subject of the Consultation
- An optional longer description of the area of interest, and
- Optional material for study by our consultants related to the problem at hand. This optional material will be deleted as specified in the “Acceptance of Terms” section.
When you visit and interact with our Site certain information is collected automatically, including non-identifying information you provide by navigating our Site. These data includes log data, behavioral data, and internet related navigational data. We do not treat Log Data as Personal Information or use it in association with other Personal Information, though we may aggregate, analyze and evaluate such information for the same purposes as stated above regarding other Non-Identifying Information.
Cookies: Like many websites, we may use “cookies” to collect information. A cookie is a small data file that we transfer to your computer’s hard disk for record-keeping purposes. We utilize cookies to enable certain features of the Site and Services, to better understand how you interact with our Site and to monitor aggregate usage and web traffic routing on our Site. If you do not accept cookies, you may not be able to use all portions of our Site or all functionality of the Service.
Web Beacons: Our Site may contain electronic images known as Web beacons (sometimes called single-pixel gifs) and are used along with cookies to compile aggregated statistics to analyze how our Site is used and may be used in some of our emails to let us know which emails and links have been opened by recipients. This allows us to gauge the effectiveness of our communications and marketing campaigns.
Use of Your Information
Feedback: We may use the information that you send to fulfill your requests for products, services and information.
Data Analysis: In order to learn more about how our Site is used, we aggregate and analyze the data we collect. We may use the information, for example, to monitor and analyze use of the Site and Services, to improve the functionality of same and to improve our Site and designs to suit our prospects’ needs.
Testimonials: We may post testimonials on our Site. Only with your consent, we may post your testimonial on our Site along with your name. To have your testimonial removed, please contact us at email@example.com.
Information Sharing and Disclosure
Analysis: We may share aggregated information (never Personal Information) and we may otherwise disclose Non-Identifying Information and Log Data with third parties for industry analysis, demographic profiling, payment processing, customer service and other purposes. Any aggregated information shared in these contexts will not contain your Personal Information.
Service Delivery: We do not currently employ third party companies and individuals to perform Site-related services, including maintenance services, database management, web analytics, data processing and email and text message distribution, but we may do so in the future. These third parties might have access to your information only to perform these tasks on our behalf.
Investigations: We may share information about you to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the physical safety or other rights and interests of any person, violations of our Terms of Service, or as otherwise required by law.
Compliance with Laws: We may share information about you to respond to any legal action or other law enforcement measures, to establish or exercise our legal rights, or to defend against legal claims.
Security and Data Retention
To protect your privacy and information, we strive to have security procedures and practices to protect from unauthorized access, destruction, use, modification and disclosure of any data on our servers.
We do not request your credit card information, national identification numbers in any non-secure or unsolicited email, telephone or other communication method. No method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure. Therefore, we cannot guarantee its absolute security. If you have any questions about security on our Site you can contact us at email@example.com.
We will not share with any third parties other than our partners and affiliates your personal email addresses, phone numbers, and Skype/IM usernames or any other personal contact details, and then only what is needed for a scheduled Consultation (name, email, SkypeID, and the relevant Client Attachments).
All scheduling activities and file exchanges should be made using the GrowthBites site exclusively. The main reason for this is to keep your transactions with GrowthRocks safe for you and available for your audit. When requested by you, GrowthRocks may provide a log of your Consultation dates and times, the subject matter, and consultant information. No additional data is kept on record by GrowthRocks, so we can provide no additional data or information. These logs are our property and we reserve the right to provide them to you, as we expect that we may archive old records and retire them from online access. In addition, please note that our Consultants keep notes of the Consultations with you. These notes are our property and we reserve the right to share -in part or in their totality- those notes with you.
International Transfer of Data
GrowthRocks and its partners to whom we disclose information under this policy may perform activities outside your and ours countries of residence. They potentially collect, transfer, store, and process some of your personal information in other countries. As a result, your information may be subject to the laws of those countries or other jurisdictions. These laws may not be equivalent to the privacy and data protection laws in your jurisdiction. Information may be disclosed in response to valid demands or requests from government authorities, courts, or law enforcement in these countries. By using our Site, you consent to the potential collection, transfer, storage, and processing of information in other countries.
